The Current State of My Life (Illustrated)

At my internship this summer I have been working on Six Sigma and Lean analyzation of a number of processes going on there. It has really gotten me thinking about the process that is my life. What the heck am I doing? Where are my resources going?

So I created this:

I think it is fairly self explanatory, but I have roughly estimated that in the most recent year, I have spent roughly 50% of my time on academics, 25% on working, and 25% on leisure. Meanwhile, financially I lose major money while in school, gain it back plus some during the summer internships, then throw most of the surplus back into the constant pursuit of leisure/satisfaction. Finally, I put what I never feel is enough effort into academics, a little more into my career planning/efforts at work, and more yet into enjoying life.

At first I didn't like the looks of these resource allocations, but the more I think about it, the less I can think of a way to improve it. Sure I would love to make huge bucks while spending 100% of my time and nearly no effort on leisure. But realistically, I would rather go to school at a fair cost than work all year long at an average rate.

On top of that, quite frankly, I'm scared to make a 1 Year Vision Map.
